NTS-Leader history

In 1989, Noyabrsk was established Neftetruboservis (NTS) - Research and Development enterprise on the basis of the West-Siberian branch VNIITneft. Neftetruboservis' approach for the tubing repair was significantly different from the conventional - the emphasis was placed on the resource-saving tubing repair technology, technological-process automation and the establishment of mobile plants for tubing repair.

In 1990 in pipe control shop Kogalymneftegas new technologies were introduced. In 1995, NTS company was founded and in 1996 NTS-1 - first automated mobile plant for tubing repair was designed, manufactured and put into operation .The launching of this plant was the event in the industry for several reasons:

  • the first time providing services to oil company has been entrusted not its own units, but to independent service company;
  • NTS-1 was the first automated plant for tubing repair in Russian history;
  • a new resource-saving technology for tubing repair has been proposed;
  • for the first time tubing repair has been produced directly on the oilfield using mobile plant.

In 1999, NTS-Leader company was registered and began its modern development.

As part of pipe control shop - Kogalymneftegas modernization, trial tests of the installation on restoration and increasing tubing wear resistance successfully passed.

NTS-1 commissioning

In the village Pervomaysky, Samara Region was put into operation the first Russian automated mobile plant for tubing repair NTS-1. The customer JSC Samaraneftegaz. (Pervomayskneft - oil-and-gas production department).

KFK machine-building plant constructed and put into operation in Varna, Bulgaria.

Pipe control shop Aznakaevo is equipped with a set of equipment for tubing repair - NTS -200, manufactured by NTS-Leader. The customer JSC Tatneft.

Jalil

NTS-200 - the complex of equipment for tubing repair was developed, delivered, put into operation on the production facility in Jalil. The customer JSC Tatneft.

Kogalym

Successful tubing tests with reinforced thread in Kogalymneftegas' oil-and-gas production department (OJSC Lukoil). Tests showed no defects after 50 full round-trip operations.

Almetyevsk

Pipe control shop in Almetyevsk is equipped with a set of equipment for tubing repair, manufactured by NTS-Leader. The customer JSC Tatneft.

Pyt-Yah

NTS -225 - a stationary plant for tubing repair was put into operation. The production capacity is 225 thous. tubing per year. The customer - RN-Yuganskneftegaz ltd.

Strezhevoi

NTS -200 – a stationary plant for tubing repair was put into operation in Strezhevoi, Tomsk Region. The production capacity is 200 thous. tubing per year. The customer – JSC Tomskneft.

NTS- P - a mobile plant for tubing repair was put into operation in Igolsko-Talovoye oilfield. The production capacity is 160 thous. tubing per year. The customer - JSC Tomskneft.

Samotlorskoe oilfield (Samotlor-1)

NTS-PS - a mobile plant for tubing repair was moved from Pervomaiskoye oilfield and put into operation in Samotlor-1. The production capacity is 150 thous. tubing per year. The customer - TNK-BP.

PWS pilot testing

The development of pulsed-wave stimulation technology (PWS). In the same year it passed its pilot testing in the Orekhovo-Ermakovskoe oilfield. The customer - JSC Tomskneft.

Permyakovskoe oilfield

NTS- PV - a mobile plant for tubing repair was put into operation. The production capacity is 150 thous. tubing per year. The customer - TNK-BP.

Pyt-Yah – General pipe control shop

The agreement for leasing the General pipe control shop  in Pyt-Yah was concluded. NTS-Leader became the largest operator in the region on integrated oilfield services for tubulars and OCTG repair.

NTS-190 - stationary plant for tubing repair was renovated with increasing capacity . Obsolescent equipment was replaced by the NTS-Leader equipment. A new plant for tubing repair - NTS- 320 was put into operation. The total production capacity of the two plants was increased to 510 thous. pipes per year. The customer is RN-Yuganskneftegaz ltd.

Purpe

NTS-RP - mobile plant for tubing repair was delivered to pipe control shop. Its production capacity is 160 thous. pipes per year. The customer is JSC Rosneft.

Work performance of oil recovery enhancement by pulsed-wave stimulation technology (PWS) in oilfields: Vozeyskoe, Usinskoe and Kharyaga. The customer is Lukoil-Komi ltd.

NTS- PM - a mobile plant for tubing repair was put into operation. The production capacity is 160 thous. tubing per year. The customer is JSC NGK Slavneft.

Megion, MNRS

As part of the tender procedure, was acquired MegionNefteRemServis (MNRS) - a company for overhaul and servicing of oilfield equipment, previously was the part of JSC Slavneft-Megionneftegaz.

Stationary plant for repair tubing and pumping rods was reconstructed. Obsolescent equipment was replaced. The production capacity is 335 thous. tubing per year and 75 thous. pumping rods per year. The customer is JSC NGK Slavneft.

Samotlorskoe oilfield (Samotlor-2)

NTS-KS - a mobile plant for tubing repair was moved from Prirazlomnoe oilfield and put into operation in Samotlor-2. The production capacity is 150 thous. tubing per year. The customer - TNK-BP.

Vankor oilfield. Tubing repair

NTS- PVNR - a stationary plant for tubing repair was put into operation. The production capacity is 85 thous. tubing per year.

Vankor oilfield. Casing inspection

NTS-RVOT - a stationary plant for receiving inspection and commissioning of casings. The production capacity is 50 thous. casing per year. The customer is JSC Rosneft.

Kolpino, St. Petersburg

Two lines of tubing finishing were put into operation. The production capacity is 320 thous. tubing per year. The customer is Ijorskaya trubnaya kompaniya.

Megion

Implementation the first works for oil recovery enhancement by RAI-NTS technology in Taylakovskoye oilfield. Testing technology opportunities for redistribution profile log of water injection wells. The customer is JSC Slavneft-Megionneftegaz.

In connection with the increased volumes of tubing repair, mobile plant for tubing repair NTS-NP was returned to Prirazlomnoe oilfield, newly installed and located at the same site. The production capacity is 160 thous. tubing per year. The customer is RN-Yuganskneftegaz.

At subsidiary NTS-Pay in Romania was set up a payment system under the brand e-pay. First payment terminals were installed, developed by NTS institute and manufactured in KFK.

Work performance of oil recovery enhancement by RAI-NTS technology in Yuzno-Priobskoe oilfield. Technology has successfully proved itself for application to oilfields with low-permeable reservoirs. The customer is Gazpromneft-Khantos ltd.

In 2013-2015 years carried out works on oil recovery enhancement by RAI-NTS technology in Vakhskoe and Sovietskoe oilfields. We solved the main task - profile log redistribution in high water cut. The customer is JSC Tomskneft.

Khanty-Mansyisk

Continuation work performance of oil recovery enhancement by RAI-NTS technology in Yuzno-Priobskoe oilfield. The customer is Gazpromneft-Khantos ltd.

Turkmenistan. Balkanabad

Work performance of oil recovery enhancement by RAI-NTS technology in Barsagelmes oilfield. RAI-NTS technology showed high efficiency on highly watered wells with low formation pressure and broken reservoir-pressure maintenance system. The customer is GK Turkmenneft.

Work performance of oil recovery enhancement by RAI-NTS technology in Bordei-Verde, Recea, Tasbuga oilfields. The customer – OMV Petrom.

Romania

A machine that combines the functions of making and selling natural coffee and a payment terminal was developed.  The project was carried out under the brand NTS Coffee.

Starting serial production of vending machines NTS Coffee in KFK (50 machines per month). In Bucharest were installed 250 machines. By network of vending machines NTS Coffee is sold about 30 tons of hot drinks in a month and made acceptance of payments in favor of 35 service providers. Development and production of trial model snack vending machine for packed products.

Bashkortostan project

A stationary plant for tubing repair was launched. It’s called «Regional Production Department 7» (Ishimbai city, Republic of Bashkortostan ). Capacity of the new tubing repair line allows to repair up to 160 thousand pipes per year. Tubing repair process requires special training, special equipment and organization of work. Production capacity of the tubing repair in Ishimbai city allows to provide all necessary tubing repair works in a short time.

New achievements

Non-destructive testing

In NTS-Leader LLC was organized a laboratory for non-destructive testing (certificate of attestation № 52A022794). The laboratory is equipped with devices and instruments for carrying out works by ultrasonic, eddy - current, magnetic and visual-measuring methods. Certification extends to non-destructive testing of oil and gas industry facilities, boiler inspection facilities, explosive and hazardous equipment, chemically hazardous industries, etc.

The company provides transportation services for the delivery of tubing by its own off-road vehicles (truck tractor, KAMAZ off-road vehicles in the amount of 50 units).

By results of 2017, the network of NTS-Pay devices reached 650+ vending machines. The company took part in various mass media events and exhibitions such as: Vending Expo, Taste Ambassadors, Karpatia Horse Show, Business Fun, We score together show, also a special issue of VENDING INSIDE magazine was prepared.
